Ask Yuba SBDC - a Green Counseling service for our business clients!

Post your question to our business and professional counselors by email, and receive a response within 2-3 business days.

What is Green Counseling?  Our implementation of readily available 21st Century technologies to support our clients by connecting them with:

  • the right counselor for their particular issue,
  • when the issue comes up (even if it's outside normal SBDC hours),
  • regardless of your location, or the office that counselor works out of,
  • without driving to our office (or yours) for a meeting!

To meet these goals, we're implemented a variety of on-line technologies.  We invite you to use whichever best meets your needs at any given time.

Please note:  Counseling through the SBDC is FREE, but we do require clients to complete a very brief one-page 'Request for Services'.  Visit our Forms Page for options on downloading, printing, and getting it to us.

How do you use Green Counseling?  It's as easy as 1 - 2 - 3!

1.  Ask your question using the brief form below.  We will attempt to respond using the method you specify - email or phone.

2.  Select a counselor - one you've been working with, or another who you believe might better meet your needs for this this particular issue (read about our counselors).  If you are unsure, then select "let SBDC assign" and our office staff will forward your request to an appropriate counselor.

Note: Not all of our counselors may be involved in our Green Counseling services yet.

3.  Expect a response within 2-3 business days.  If for any reason you do not receive a response within a reasonable time, please forward your request to our office staff.  This is new technology, and we may need to iron out some kinks.

After a dialogue has been started, you and your counselor may decide to take advantage of follow-up one-on-one counseling on-site, at one of our offices, or by phone, electronic chat or even Instant Messenger.  But first things first!

Let's begin!
